Darwin International Airport ETD Enclosures

Select Services were approached by Darwin International Airport to provide a cooling solution to maintain the operation of the Explosive Trace Detectors (ETD) at external points throughout the Darwin Airport.

In an Australian first, Select Services designed and constructed dedicated cool room enclosures to house the Explosive Detection Equipment (EDE). Each system runs on mains power/generator to built-in UPS and requires a constant temperature and humidity to ensure accurate operation of the sensitive equipment.

Select Services cooling solution has been such a success, we are hoping to roll it out across other Airports in the NT, QLD and WA in the future.
