Norbuilt engaged Select Services for the Design and Construction of the Amart Warehouse and Retail Complex, including Joyce Mayne, Barbeques Galore and Reece Plumbing.

The Amart Warehouse and Retail complex project included Zones A, B & C of the Homezone Centre in Berrimah. Select Services early involvement (at 40% design), provided the client with cost savings and improvements. We were then engaged to complete the documentation and certification on the project.

Zone A

Amart Furniture air conditioning plant consists of three 200kW Temperzone package units, cooling around 4,000m2. Ensuring seamless installation on site, 3D-modelling was completed in conjunction with the Structural Engineers and Architect. We installed an Innotech Building Management System (BMS), allowing the building to be monitored from the Homezone Head Office building.

We were approached to design and construct a certified mechanical smoke spill system, due to insufficient space onsite for water storage and fire sprinkler tanks. This was successfully documented and constructed delivering a certified system on time and budget, along with coordination of the live / Hot smoke testing.

Zone B

Zone B included Joyce Mayne and Barbeques Galore tenancies and were undertaken directly for the developer. The works included rooftop platforms, packaged units, exposed spiral ducting and back-of-house supplementary conditioning.

Zone C

Zone C, Reece Plumbing domestic showroom included a combination of split ducted and individual units that were installed according to Reece National Standards compliance system.
